Kids absolutely LOVE balloon animals!
At the events, balloon animals give the kids something to play with and talk about with their friends. There's a balloon animal that will bring a smile to any child's face :)

Most kids want their balloon animal this minute! and I try to make things simple and quick so they have something to play with immediately :)

For most events, I have a book that the kids can look at and it shows them exactly what each balloon shape looks like, all they have to do is pick their color.

If the event is larger, I take photos of the balloon animals and place them on a board for all to see. They can pick from the photos.

I also will have my rabbit with me and the kids can pet the rabbit while they're waiting for their balloon.

If you have 30 or more kids at your event, I'll leave extra time to make sure everyone gets a balloon, just let me know a head count.

Balloon Animals - More Detail

Animal Balloons are included in the Birthday Package and the kids will love them!! Some shows, the kids are very, very interested in the Magic Show! but other events the kids are fascinated with the Balloon Animals ...
I try to make a variety of shapes that aren't hard to make. In other words, let's don't make the kids wait too long for their balloon!! Yes, they love balloons but the younger children do not want to wait too long to receive them.

Part of the fun is watching the Balloon Animals being made, and I try to make them while talking to the kids and having some sort of comedy involved or having some music playing and let them do the "Chicken Dance" or "Limbo" while they are waiting.

During the Birthday Party (or other event) I can start making the Balloons while the other activities are going on. While the kids are doing another activity is perfect as I can take each one aside and ask what shape they would like and the color etc..
That seems to work very well, but other times the kids simply want to sit and watch and guess the shape I'm making or watch as we draw the eyes on the balloon. Either way works fine, whatever works for your group is great with me.

Some events simply need a Balloon Artist to come and stand and make balloons for the entire event. That is no problem, just give me a shade tree to stand under and a glass of H2O and I'll make balloons all day. We can narrow it down to 5 or 6 shapes or I can bring a book for the kids to look through and pick out the shape they would like.
I try to make it simple but yet fun, so that no one waits too long but yet gets something that they really enjoy!

Balloon Animals For Larger Events

I bring my own table and I have a music player that gives the kids something to listen to while they're waiting. I've also have a little white rabbit that comes with me and the kids can pet the rabbit while waiting for their balloon. This setup seems to work really well at most events :)

Balloon Animal FAQ

Can I have balloons at my outside party?

Absolutely! but first you should know that the hotter it gets, the faster the balloons will pop. On really hot days, balloons tend to pop if the ground is hot and a child simply touches the grass with one. Yes, balloon animals will work and be fun outside, but on hot days they may not last.

Can you make any balloon animal?

No ... but I do have a menu or book with pictures of each balloon that I can make. I try to make only things that are quick so the kids don't have to wait too long for their balloon. Most kids want their balloon right now! and I try to make that happen :)

How much time should I plan for balloon animals at my party?

Usually I do the balloons in the "background" while you are doing other activities. So you can continue with your activities and I walk around and ask each child which balloon they'd like. I try to make enough balloons to make everyone happy!

Can I have balloon animals at my large event?

Yes, but if the event is too large I can call in another balloon artist to help make sure everyone gets one. I hate leaving an event and not getting a balloon to everyone! so we may have to plan accordingly. Should we have one balloon artist or two?
